MDP with Tegan & Sara!

I played keyboards with my former Vapor Records mates, Tegan & Sara, at Boston Calling music festival in May. If you know T&S, they have a prolific catalog of indie pop hits with an incredible candor for not taking themselves too seriously. Yet, sacrificing and doing everything they can to give their loyal fans of almost 20 years the best show on the planet. After not seeing the girls for a decade, it was a blast reconnecting with them, and my dual keyboard skills. For 3 weeks straight, I practiced like Schroeder from Peanuts, had no social life (but, who does these days?), and learned the true meaning of enjoying the journey. And, it was all so worth it.

Toqué los teclados con mis compañeras anteriores de Vapor Records, Tegan & Sara, en el festival musical "Boston Calling" en mayo. Si conoces a T&S, tienen un catálogo de éxitos pop independientes y no se toman todo tan en serio. Y aún, se esfuerzan por darle a sus fans de casi 20 años el mejor show del planeta. Después de no ver a estas chicas por una década, fue un placer reconectarme con ellas y mis habilidades en los teclados duales. Por 3 semanas seguidas, practiqué como Schroeder de Peanuts, no tuve vida social (¿pero, quién tiene una ahora?), y aprendí el verdadero significado de disfrutar el trayecto. ¡Y, todo valió la pena!
